Welcome to the West Durham Family Health Team Mindfulness Series.

This online series is intended as an introduction to a number of mindfulness practices for those who are interested in discovering mindfulness. The series focuses on 6 different aspects of mindfulness from different traditions and from different regions in the world.
To join the program, please contact Dale to register. You must be a patient of West Durham Family Health Team. The program is free of charge.
The following are the steps for going forward through the program.

  1. The program is intended as a 2 week program covered in 6 videos. You are encouraged to watch the videos in order over the course of 2 weeks. It can be helpful to take time watching and spread the videos out over the 2 weeks. The videos are 15-20 minutes in length.
  2. Before beginning, our social worker, Dale Andersen-Giberson, will contact you and ask you some questions. Once the two weeks are over, you will speak with Dale again for follow-up. Feel free to stay in contact with him through the program if you have any reflections or questions.
  3. It can be difficult to enter into the world of mindfulness. We encourage you to take your time with the ideas, take it easy and encounter the ideas with a light heart.
